How Speed Dating Works
At an Xfactor Speed Dating event guests have around 20 face-to-face 3 minute “dates” with like-minded single people. Aimed at mostly professionals, speed dating events are the perfect way to meet new singles in an exciting and fun filled evening.
The speed dating event is organised so that there are plenty of breaks for you to grab a drink at the bar & mingle further with the other guests.
We ensure our Ice-breakers welcome you and are always on hand to relax and mingle with guests, whilst also playing cupid to ensure everyone has a good time!
Before the Speed Dating event
Once your booking has been made via the fully secure website, you will automatically receive an email booking confirmation detailing the location & description of the venue, together with an explanation of how the evening runs. If you have any questions or are a bit nervous on the evening, don't worry - remember everyone’s in the same position!
During the Speed Dating event
Guests are greeted on arrival by our Hosts and are registered from the guest list on the door. Armed with their Guest Pack, Speed Daters are then escorted to the bar where they are welcomed by our Icebreaker hosts. After a short time at the bar, the fun really begins when the speed dating starts!
Each woman is seated at the table which corresponds to their badge number. The men then start their first date with the lady who has the same badge number as themselves. The women remain seated at their table throughout the speed dating, whilst the men move clockwise between tables every 3 minutes.
At the end of each date, Speed Daters mark on their scorecard whether or not they would like to see that person again, together with any comments they feel appropriate, to help jog their memory.
After the speed dating sessions have finished, don't go rushing off, as the evening doesn’t end there - the bar stays open and the guests stay on and mingle to get to know each other better.
After the Speed Dating event
Remember to take your Scorecard home and log back into our website to enter your results and see who you have matched with.
If someone you have "ticked" has also ticked you, then you both have a "match"! You can then view all your matches & with a more detailed profile, including photos! You can then get back in contact with your matches via email, if you wish to arrange meeting up again. |

How an Xfactor Singles Speed Dating Party works?
At an Xfactor Singles Speed Dating Party, speed dating guests are guaranteed a fantastic party night out with a twist. Our speeddating parties take place at exclusive bars and clubs and are filled with over 150 singles partying until the early hours. There’s icebreaker activities throughout the night to set the right mood and get everyone mingling!
Xfactor dating parties are aimed at single professionals. Unlike traditional online dating, these dating events are the perfect way to meet lots of like-minded single people face to face in a relaxed party atmosphere. We ensure our Xfactor hosts and Icebreakers are always on hand to relax and mingle with guests, whilst playing cupid to ensure everyone has a great time.
During the Singles Party!
Xfactor Guests are greeted on arrival by our friendly Xfactor Hosts and handed their Xfactor flirt file and flirt cards. These are for Xfactor guests to make notes of anyone you like the look of throughout the night by making a note of their name and badge number and hand out flirt cards to guests you fancy either on the dance floor or perhaps on the photo flirt wall.
As guests explore the numerous activities taking place throughout the venue, such as Speed Dating , Lock and Key, and Polaroid photo wall, simply give a Flirt Card to any guests with whom you feel there might be some chemistry. Speeddating is great fun and we recommend everyone should give it a go!
All of the activities at a singles party are optional and there to help dating become more relaxed , so you can choose which activities suit you! If you don’t fancy taking part in the fun dating activities, you can always just sit back at the bar, mingle with other guests, or strut your stuff on the dance floor – whatever takes your fancy!! Our club DJ will be playing a mixture of the latest dance sounds until the early hours, so come prepared to party the night away.
What icebreaker activities happen on the night?
Lock and Key
Unlock the chemistry...Our lock and key game provides the ideal opportunity to approach as many people as you want to, with some fantastic on the spot prizes. What happens?
Lock and Key Parties are the fun interactive activity for singles.
The Ladies are issued with a small padlock and the guys a Key. It’s simple – approach any member of the opposite sex that you are attracted to, in search of the Lock/Key that matches yours!
Once you find a match, you’re free to flirt with them for as long as you like. Then, simply return the lock/key to the distribution desk to receive another one and you will then be given a ticket for the main prize draw and some great on the spot prizes.
Speed Dating
Take part in our exciting face to face speed dating sessions! 10 women and 10 men per speed dating session with 4 minutes to discover one another. 4 minutes to impress and be impressed!
Photo flirt wall
Have your heads and shoulders photo taken free of charge (if you like - it's not compulsory). We will then print it out digitally in 8 seconds and add it to our photo wall. You can look through the photo wall for single people you like the look of and leave a message on a 'flirt card' for them!
After the event log in to the Xfactor website and search guests who attended the party and discover who wants to see you again! If you tick someone and they tick you, it’s a match!
Flirt Cards
All party guests are given flirt cards to write messages on to hand to other guests on arrival to the party. Guests make a note of who they are most interested in on their personal Flirt File so that after the event they can log in to the website to enter them as a match. If you tick someone and they tick you, it’s a match! And you can view each others profile and contact details.
After the Xfactor Singles Speed Dating Party
