XfactorDates have exclusive use of the downstairs Function Room at Sammy's. Formerly, the Oak Bar and Restaurant, Sammy's is home to a beautiful oak bar on the ground floor and a unique private restaurant on the lower ground floor. Elegant and sophisticated, white gold marble is used throughout with classic oak and teak furniture, leather sofas, state of the art facilities and we have a private lift for our disabled customers.
Sammy's offers stylish settings for drinks, lunch and dinner with friends, colleagues or family on Teddington High Street, minutes from the river.
The downstairs area offers a quiet, intimate and comfortable setting and is home for our Marine Aquarium and our commissioned Stained Glass Window. Sammy's is pleased to use local suppliers through the borough of Richmond upon Thames, Surrey and Middx to source both our produce local ales and wines from Denbies Vineyard in Dorking, Surrey. Our drinks menu includes hand selected farm produced juices too! |

Our Speed Dating evenings are a great fun way to meet likeminded singles in a relaxed atmosphere. Just come along with an open mind and don't take it too seriously. You’ll have a great time and meet lots of single people and the chance to meet that someone special.
Speed Dating guests will be greeted by our Host and Icebreaker. On arrival our host will register you in to the event and give you a scorecard, a name badge and a pen, then invite you to have a drink at the bar to mingle with other guests.
Then the host will announce that the dating begins.
Women will be seated, while men will rotate between tables every 3-4 minutes so you get to meet and chat to everyone at the event. After each date, guests mark on a scorecard whether they would like to see that person again.
The Speed Dating sessions finish between 9pm & 10pm, when guests are invited to stay on afterwards for drinks at the bar and further mingling.
Everyone takes their scorecards home with them at the end of the night to enter their ticks online on the Xfactor website and find out who they’ve matched with. You can then contact anyone you match with through our secure website.
