Situated right in the heart of the city centre, Henrys is a trendy and popular bar on two floors, offering an extensive menu and a wide choice of cocktails, wines and beers.
On selected nights there is live music varying from live jazz to funky DJs and during the summer BBQs are held in the walled courtyard. A great place for a lunchtime break from shopping, a romantic meal for two at night or a full blown party, Henrys can offer something for all tastes.
It is set in one of Norwichs oldest buildings and is claimed to be the second most haunted building in Norwich, so you may see more than just double after the cocktails!
Xfactor guests will have exclusive use of the first floor. It has a large feature mirror on the ceiling which enhances the modern setting and is fully air conditioned. Spacious, with cosy alcoves, trendy furniture and comfy sofas, this is an ideal venue for speed dating.

In a courtyard on the corner of Haymarket and Orford Place, behind Halfords and opposite Debenhams, about 250 yds. from the bus and taxi ranks in Castle Meadow.
On foot, leave the bus stops with Norwich castle on your left and continue into Red Lion St. Turn right into Orford Place beside Debenhams and Henrys is on your right
By car, use the multi storey car park in the Castle Mall Shopping Centre, which remains open until about midnight. From the car park take the lift to level 9 and bear right into the shopping centre. Keep on that level and take the exit to Castle Meadow. Cross the road and follow above directions. Keep your ticket and pay at the machines on level 9 before collecting your car, there are no pay facilities within the car park. |

This fabulous venue in the heart of Norwich is surrounded by stunning furnishings and low level lighting. This bar is a real stunner with a fantastic atmosphere to get you in the mood for those close encounters. We have exclusive use of the bar so there'll be no onlookers to put you off while dating.
Speed Dating guests are greeted by our host and icebreakers on arrival. Registration is from 7.30pm and the dating sessions start at 7.45pm
Our Speed Dating evenings are a great fun way to meet likeminded singles in a relaxed atmosphere.
Just come along with an open mind and don't take it too seriously. You’ll have a great time and meet lots of single people and the chance to meet that someone special.
Speed Dating guests are greeted by our Host and Icebreaker.
On arrival our host will register you in to the event and give you a scorecard, a name badge and a pen, then invite you to have a drink at the bar to mingle with other guests.
Then the host will announce that the dating begins. Women will be seated, while men will rotate between tables every 3-4 minutes so you get to meet and chat to everyone at the event. After each date, guests mark on a scorecard whether they would like to see that person again.
The Speed Dating sessions finish between 9 and 10pm, when guests are invited to stay on afterwards for drinks at the bar and further mingling.
Everyone takes their scorecards home with them at the end of the night to enter their ticks online on the Xfactor website and find out who they’ve matched with. You can then contact anyone you match with through our secure website.
