A hidden gem in the heart of City , Located on the banks of the Thames in the City of London, The Samuel Pepys is a contemporary bar boasting fantastic panoramic views across the Thames, the Globe Theatre across to the Tate.
This beautiful riverside contemporary bar has a 200 capacity. With its warm inviting contemporary interiors, exposed brick work and wallpaper by chic British designers Timorous Beasties it’s the perfect location for Xfactor party peeps.
Its outside balcony seating for those romantic encounters during the party. Selection of quirky, contemporary art from the likes of Dan Baldwin, Saira Hunjan and Maurizio Ortiz. The venue has floor to ceiling windows with open plan views of the river. One of only two original public houses in the City to face the river, Samuel Pepys Helpful, friendly staff, offers Xfactor party guests pub prices and an extensive wine and cocktails list, premium lagers and beers on draught. We’ve secured a fab party venue to suit everyone’s needs!
Samuel Pepys has a 1am license so you can party till the early hours and only few mins walk from Mansion House, St Paul’s and Moorgate station,.

From Mansion House tube station: Come out of the station though the Garlick Hill exit turn right and walk down Garlick Hill. At the bottom of Garlick Hill turn right and cross the footbridge ahead of you and at the bottom of the footbridge turn left and follow the main road until you see the Globe View building on your left. Stew Lane is the first road on your left and The Samuel Peyps is at the bottom.
From Bank tube station: Take Exit 9 walk straight. When you get to Llyods TSB turn left onto Queens Road. Follow Queens Road until the start of the bridge over the Thames. Turn right over the road and under the foot bridge you will find Stew Lane with The Samuel Peyps at the end of it.
Parking:
You can park on single yellows (Fish Street Hill), just on the other side of Upper Thames Street, it's a dead end so you can walk across the footbridge. Or on High Timber street there are some parking bays, and an NCP on Upper Thames street. |

Xfactor have developed some fun icebreakers to get people mixing and matching easily, so there’s plenty of opportunity to chat.
We have exclusive use of the bar for the entire event. The evening will start with introductions to our ice breaker games & prizes to get you chatting to people straight away.
The emphasis all night will be placed on fun and mingling whilst discovering new people and they’ll be music to suit everyone’s taste.
Our Hosts and Icebreakers will be on hand during the event to welcome you and introduce you to other guests. The evening will kick off with introductions to our ice breaker activities and prizes to get you all mingling.
Based on a 50:50 gender split. Tickets are £15 and tickets include canapés so there’s no extras to pay on the night, apart from drinks:

. Speed Dating - Take part in our exciting face to face dating sessions! 10 women and 10 men per session with 3 minutes to discover one another. 3 minutes to impress and be impressed! Tick guests on your Flirt File who you "click" with and if you both agree that there’s a spark, you’ll be able to contact each through the Xfactor website after the event and view each other’s personal profile.
. Lock and key - Unlock the chemistry...Our lock and key game provides the ideal opportunity to approach as many people as you want to, with some fantastic on the spot prize. What happens? When you see someone that takes your fancy, approach them and ask him or her if you can see if your lock or key are a match. If you match, take as long as you like to flirt and chat, then pop along to the locksmith’s desk where you will be given a prize and a new lock/key. Then off you go to find more potential matches. There's champagne and free drinks to be won, you may get lucky in more ways than one!
