Xfactor Success Story - Alison and Rob.

We met speed dating in Eastbourne, East Sussex. I went with a friend of mine and he went with another 3 guys. My friend and I had only gone to see what all the fuss was about, as we had heard it was a good laugh from various people! Well we were sitting next to each other and as the guys came round for our 3 min session, the evening was getting more interesting and funny. Rob was one of the last guys to come round to my table and our 3 mins consisted of talking about "what your favourite biscuit is" I didn’t want him to leave my table. So I whispered to my friend that she had to quiz him on everything as we had only talked about biscuits!! So she found out various things for me.... Anyway I didn't see him afterwards because the footie was on and his team were playing (he kept disappearing downstairs in the pub all night anyway to see bits) so he had run off to see the result!

We matched when we filled in our score card forms.

I emailed him and he replied with his phone number. Two days later
(Thursday) I phoned him and we talked on the phone for about 3 hours!
Arranging to meet up the next evening and go tenpin bowling! What a fun Night we had and just hit it off straight away.


We started dating and things were going really well. He lived in another town and neither of us have cars so we were forever travelling back and forth on the trains. During the summer he surprised me with a holiday to Tenerife - that’s where the photo is of - we had a fantastic time and got on so well. When we got back from holiday, I started a new job in the town that Rob lived in, so we spent a lot more time with each other. Then in November 05, he asked me to move in with him. In January 06 I moved in with Rob and have been living together happily ever since. We are currently just about to go on holiday again in a couple of weeks and everything is going really well.
