Xfactor Success Story - Merilyn and Tom

We met on Feb 22nd 2005, It was my 24th birthday and it was a week night so I had nothing major planned, so I asked my sister to buy me a Speed Dating ticket because I was feeling a little bit down. My actual birthday celebration was going to be on the weekend sense the quiet evening. So I went to the White House because that was where the closest event was. I was really impressed with the quality of guys that attended, but nobody sparked my interest until my final date #15. The moment I set eyes on him, I knew he was going to cause an amazing collision in my heart. The first thing that I said to him was "I have been waiting all night to meet you." We had a whirlwind dating experience and finally we just decided that we were meant for each other.

The rest is history, a year and a bit later and Tom has moved areas to be closer to me, we have traveled around Europe and just finished a tour around Asia.

We are off to Ireland next month to see has family and I will be spending Christmas once again in Ireland this year.
