Big Brother Housemates go speed dating

FRIDAY night is DATE night in the Big Brother house.

Bored housemates decided to spice things up a bit last night by going speed-dating.

Every BBoy got two minutes to try out their best chat up lines before moving on to the next BBabe. Best pals Kris and Lisa decided to sit out the game and judge the best couple.

But there was more than a little bending of the truth as housemates went out of their way to make a good first impression.

Wannabe MP Sree, 25, told Noirin that he was a flash mechanical engineer with loads of cash. While the Irish beauty, 25, insisted she was a fashion designer.

Mr Gay UK Charlie, 22, tried to impress Sophia by telling her he was a fireman. But she was unconvinced asking him: "Of the stripper variety?"

And outrageous Marcus, 35, tried to wow single mum Saffia, 27, by telling her he was a circus elephant with a flatulence problem.

But the brave lady seemed undeterred insisting she was actually a clown and that wind made him "more of a man".

Posh boy Freddie, 23, seemed to have run out of chat up lines as he opened with, "What a beautiful name you have", to both Sophia and Saffia.

And at the end of all the dates Kris and Lisa decided that glam Sophie, 20, and FEDERICO made the best couple.

The daft pair forgot Rodrigo's name despite living with the Brazilian student for over 24 hours.
