How a Singles Party Works
At an Xfactor Singles Party guests are guaranteed a fantastic night out with a twist. Taking place at exclusive bars and clubs, these evenings are filled with activities to set the right mood and get everyone mingling!
Aimed at professionals, these events are the perfect way to meet plenty of like-minded single people in a relaxed party atmosphere. We ensure our Icebreakers are always on hand to relax and mingle with daters, whilst also playing cupid to ensure everyone has a good time.
Before the Singles Party
Once your booking has been made via the fully secure website, you will automatically receive an email booking confirmation detailing the location & description of the venue, together with an explanation of how the evening runs. If you have any questions or are a bit nervous on the evening, don't worry - remember everyone’s in the same position!

HI Xfactor
Things have been going fantastically well and we're moving in together! Hurrah! We met at the London event in July (singles night), he says he saw my photo on the wall and just knew! He came to find me, we chatted for the rest of the evening and then he called the next day and we've been together ever since. We have tons in common; both work in the media and are having an amazing time. So thank you! It does work and I am so glad I came to an Xfactor event or I never would have met the love of my life!

During the Singles Party
Guests are greeted on arrival by our friendly Hosts and are registered from the guest list on the door. Armed with their Guest Pack, which includes a flirt file, Xfactor pen and flirt cards. These are for you to make notes of anyone you like the look of on your flirt file by making note of their name and badge number and hand out flirt cards to guests you fancy either on the dance floor or perhaps on the photo flirt wall.
Daters are then escorted to the bar where they are welcomed by our Icebreaker hosts.
Our friendly Xfactor Hosts on hand to mix and mingle with guests and ensure the event runs smoothly!
As you explore the numerous activities taking place throughout the venue, such as Speed Dating and Lock and Key, and Polaroid photo wall (London only) simply give a Flirt Card to any guests with whom you feel there might be some chemistry.
All of the activities at a singles party are there to help daters mingle and be introduced to one another and are fully optional, so you can chose which activities suit you! If you don’t fancy taking part in the activities, you can always just sit back at the bar, mingle with other guests, or strut your stuff on the dance floor – whatever takes your fancy!! Our club DJ will be playing a mixture of the latest dance sounds until the early hours, so come prepared to party the night away.
Lock and Key
Unlock the chemistry...Our lock and key game provides the ideal opportunity to approach as many people as you want to, with some fantastic on the spot prize. What happens?
Lock and Key Parties are the fun interactive activity for singles. We take a regular Happy Hour and mix it up to create to the ULTIMATE Ice-breaker.
The Ladies are issued with a small padlock and the guys a Key. It’s simple – approach any member of the opposite sex that you are attracted to, in search of the Lock/Key that matches yours!
Once you find a match, you’re free to flirt with them for as long as you like. Then, simply return the lock/key to the distribution desk to receive another one and you will then be given a ticket for the main prize draw and the chance to win a number of great on the spot prizes.
The great thing about Lock and Key is that you can keep searching for as many matches as you like and the more matches you receive, the greater your chances are of meeting a mutual attraction!
At a Lock and Key party, guests have the perfect Ice-breaker, so there is no excuse not to approach that good looking guy at the bar, or that gorgeous girl in the corner! Throughout your quest you’ll potentially meet around 50 or 100 people of the opposite sex, so the possibilities are endless!!
Two girls prepare to do the rounds around the party, each wearing locks (men wear keys) throughout the night they introduce themselves to guys asking to try their lock and key. If it fits you’re a winner and it’s a great conversation sparker.
Speed Dating
Take part in our exciting face to face dating sessions! 10 women and 10 men per session with 4 minutes to discover one another. 4 minutes to impress and be impressed!
10 speed dates in 30 minute sessions, running throughout the evening. Tick guests on your Flirt File who you "click" with and if you both agree that there’s a spark, you’ll be able to contact each through the Xfactor website after the event and view each other’s personal profile.
Two couples get cosy in the speed dating zone, 10 fun face to face dates with 3 minutes to impress every half an hour.
Photo flirt wall
Have your photo taken free of charge (if you like - it's not compulsory). We will then print it out digitally in 8 seconds and add it to our photo wall. You can look through the photo wall for people you like the look of and leave a message on a 'flirt card' for them!
After the event log in to the website and search guests who attended the party and discover who wants to see you again!
Flirt Cards
All guests are given flirt cards to write messages on to hand to other guests. Make a note of who you are most interested in on your personal Flirt File so that after the event you can login to the website to enter them as a match.

Remember to take your Flirt File home with you and log back into our website to enter all of your attractions.
Log in to the website and search guests who attended the party and discover who wants to see you again!
If someone you have “ticked” has also ticked you, then you both have a "match"! The website then enables you to then view all your matches & also see a more detailed profile of each - including a photo, to jog your memory!
You can then get back in contact with your matches via email, if you wish to arrange meeting up again.
